We left from Calabria on Friday morning at 6 in the hope of being able to avoid the stifling heat that in those days bothered us.There are no resolutions at all. After 8 hours of road and 700 kilometers, we arrived to the only cheered gathering in the burning sun, since Marche have a wonderful landscape, with green meadows as far as the eye can reach, and because we were accepted by the Black Scorpions, which classified us that year. As soon as we arrived the Black welcomed us by giving us big mugs of beer in order to refresh ourselves. As the heat was truly stifling, we lay under a large tent prepared in the place of the gathering, and drank and chatted with the friends met there till sunset, after the warmth had given us the deserved relax. In the evening, musical bands alternated till late at night with very good performances and a lot of fun of all the bikers. Of course, Saturday was the day of bigger concourse of people to the party, with the arrival of many motorcyclists coming from all Italy and also from abroad. This gave the opportunity of organizing in the afternoon contests, such as drawing the rope, launching the tyre and soccer matches, of course with much fun of those who participated and of those who watched. The evening went on with rock and blues bands and the mythical striptease of a girl who excited many people. In the morning we left again sure that the money we spent for this 12th gathering of the Black Scorpions was well spent.See you at the next edition. CAVA |
